A private 18-hour coaching journey to help you discover, articulate and begin living your Life Purpose
Three founding-client places are available at £1,800. The standard fee will be £2,400.
If you are here, chances are I have sent you a personal invitation, or someone who knows my work has pointed you here.
I have created this page so that you can see clearly what The 6 Movements to Your Life Purpose involves, what we would actually do together, and what you could reasonably expect to leave with.
Then you can decide whether it is the right work for where you are now.
Over twelve years of coaching, I've spent 2,600+ hours with more than 650 people. Their lives and surface questions have been very different, but deeper patterns have recurred in what leads them towards a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling—and what gets in the way. The 6 Movements grew from those observations and insights.
Almost without exception, everybody at some point wonders: Why am I here? What is the purpose of my life?
People often arrive at these questions when something in their life feels dead, or no longer fully alive.
For some it is the mid-life crisis. For others there may not be an obvious crisis. Their life may function perfectly well on paper. But perhaps work that once felt meaningful has become flat. Perhaps they know what they no longer want, but cannot yet see what should take its place. Or perhaps they wonder whether their present direction is worthy of another ten, twenty or thirty years of their life.
I think of Life Purpose as orientation.
It is not necessarily a job title, a new career or a grand declaration about the single reason you are alive. It is a deeper living direction: a relationship between who you are, what life has shaped in you, what makes you come alive, what the world is asking and what you are willing to do in response.
There is no meaningful path through life that does not involve effort, uncertainty or sacrifice. Yet if avoiding difficulty becomes the organising principle of our choices, we can slowly lose contact with what matters deeply. Perhaps the more useful question is not “How can I avoid difficulty?” but:
Is where I am going worthy of what it will ask of me?
The 6 Movements is a structured way to pay close attention to your life, gather evidence, give language to what emerges, examine it honestly and begin testing it in the real world.
The aim is not manufactured certainty. It is a direction that feels sufficiently grounded and trustworthy to begin living by.
Nobody can honestly promise in advance exactly what eighteen hours of inquiry will reveal.
The intention is that you complete the journey with:
The real outcome is not merely a sentence. It is a different quality of relationship with your life.
The whole point of Life Purpose is to help us live a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling by becoming clearer about what is worthy of our finite life.
This work has changed as I have practised it. It began as five steps, became seven, and eventually took the form of six movements. My understanding of what we were trying to articulate changed too.
At first, I used a Purpose Formula:
“I am here to help [who or what I serve] [what I help make possible] through [how I serve], in a way that expresses [the essential qualities I bring].”
It was useful because it asked people to be specific. A mother might say:
“I am here to help my children grow into confident, free and loving people by creating a home of love, safety and belonging, with devotion, steadiness and care.”
A teacher might say:
“I am here to help young people understand the world and believe in their capacity to shape it through teaching and guiding them, with clarity, encouragement and care.”
A graphic designer might say:
“I am here to help people bring their ideas into the world through design that makes them clear, beautiful and recognisably theirs, with curiosity, collaboration and care.”
Each statement gives language to something real. But I began to feel that something was missing. Motherhood, teaching and design are places where a person’s purpose may find expression. They are not necessarily the whole reason that person is alive. A human being is not a formula.
Take the mother. Beneath her wish to help her children flourish, she might recognise a deeper direction: creating conditions in which life feels safe, loved and free enough to grow. She may live that at home, in the way she relates to her friends, or through a neighbourhood café where her staff feel valued and her customers feel genuinely welcomed and known.
Her Living Purpose Statement might sound more like this:
“What matters to me is helping life flourish. I see that in the home I create for my children, in how I show up for my friends, and in the café I run. I want the people around me to feel safe, welcomed and free enough to grow. I don’t yet know every form this might take.”
The café is not her purpose, any more than motherhood is the whole of her purpose. Both are places where she can live it.
That is what I mean by a Living Purpose Statement. It gives language to a deeper direction without reducing you to one role or defining you once and for all. It should help you recognise yourself and make choices, while leaving room for your purpose to deepen and find new forms as you do.
The movements give the journey a clear structure, but they are not rigid compartments. Something discovered later may cast new light on an earlier question, and the inquiry deepens as the different strands begin to meet.
The complete journey consists of 18 hours of private, one-to-one coaching, that can be arranged as:
We will agree the rhythm that best fits you and your current needs. I would not normally stretch the journey much beyond twelve weeks, because continuity matters. One movement needs enough proximity to the next for us to notice the threads as they emerge.

I work with people at the point where something no longer feels right — but they can’t yet see clearly what needs to change.
My work is not about giving advice or telling you what to do. It’s about helping you understand what’s actually true for you — and what your life is already pointing towards, once the noise falls away.
What I tend to do quickly is see through the surface confusion and get to what’s underneath it. From there, we can translate that into something clear, grounded, and actionable.
I’ve worked with leaders and professionals from organisations including among others PwC, Hogan Lovells, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, the Department for Business Energy & Industrial Strategy, Lloyds Banking Group, the Royal College of Art and the BBC.
When you can see clearly, the next step becomes easier to recognise.
I am looking for three founding clients to experience this first integrated version of the 6 Movements.
Founding-client fee: £1,800
The standard fee after those three places have been taken will be £2,400.
In return for the founding price, I will ask you to give me detailed feedback as we move through the process. I want to know what lands, what may need more space, what may feel repetitive, what may be missing and how the pacing works for you in practice.
If, at the end, you feel the process has genuinely earned a testimonial, I will ask whether you would be willing to provide one, ideally on video. There is no expectation that you should give a testimonial, nor that you should say anything you do not believe.
The only way to know if a house is right for you is to step inside.
Yet £1,800 is not an insignificant investment. As this is high-trust work, I want you to be able to experience the process before deciding whether it is right for you.
To this end, if you are not getting value from the inquiry after the first 4.5 hours, I will refund 100% of your fee, no questions asked.
If you are seriously considering the journey but would like to talk through where you are, which rhythm might suit you, or anything you need to understand before committing, you can arrange a conversation with me. I will be honest if I do not believe The 6 Movements is right for you now.
If “What is the purpose of my life?” or “What is life asking of me now?” feels like the right question and it comes at the right moment, you can secure a founding place or talk with me about beginning.
